A blast from the past! It's the 2016 custom Event Kit from BrickFair NJ! This is exactly as I received the kit back then, mostly complete with some extra pieces for compensation. Still gets the point across and it was fun to build a tall tree to complement the main build. As far as I know this is the most elaborate event kit of any LEGO convention in terms of size and piece count, included in exhibitor welcome bags. If anyone else has pictures of their model, I'd be happy to see it. Sadly I don't know who designed this model, and the online instructions don't credit anyone other. I do hope to recreate this in BrickLink Studio at some point and have a parts inventory available for others to build.

[TW: Depression, Real Talk, personal but does affect communication]

As a heads-up, October is usually my deepest mentally unhealthy time of year, sometimes carrying into November and even once as far as December. Normally this is something I reserve to myself and a select few people, but I understand that I can unintentionally impact many others even when I just need space to vent. Things really escalated yesterday in my personal life between work and family/friends, but as we are at the end of September, I'm not surprised the depression has hit hard early. 🍁

If you want to avoid me all of next month or so for your own safety, I understand. I can back away from social media as well, even more than I've already done, to keep negative thoughts and updates from spreading.

And yes, I am already consulting therapists and psychiatrists about this as well; I am not coming here to ask for unprofessional advice. Such measures of treatment will be handled privately.

I will still be within contact and still working as per usual. But if it takes longer to get back to you, it's because I'm finding the best circumstances without becoming too emotional.

Take care of yourself first and enjoy the fall season. 🍂

The moment you've been waiting for....an update to my Kickstarter for Bizarre LEGO. See more details here, but here's the basics:

- July 31st - re-launch of Kickstarter on a new campaign page. Link will follow.
- Campaign will only last 1 MONTH (July 31st - August 31st).
- Goal has been adjusted to $3,000 with basic rewards but room for expansion.
- More visuals will be provided for the page including mockups of pages and a finalized cover.

If you're in attendance of BrickFair VA (Chantilly), a table display for Bizarre LEGO has been arranged in the back area of the main hall, between Stay & Play and Military under the category Mixed. I will be circulating throughout the convention, and the table will be viewable between Wendesday and Sunday for the week.
