Harold S Jones Fine Arts Center We also display works of art from local and national artist. Recently added to the Fine Arts Center is the computer lab, copy, and digital training facility.

Established in 2018, the Harold S Jones Fine Arts Center provides music, art, and dance lessons for students and adults in the Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, and Southeast Missouri region. This non-for-profit arts center also sponsors the Smooth Jazz on the River Festival and educational workshops free to the public.

Under the new ownership of Harold S. Jones, the historic Old Cavalier Club is set to undergo a transformative renovation. Reborn as The Cavalier Regional Arts & Events Center, the revitalized venue will serve as an extension of the Fine Arts Center, providing a dynamic space for larger performances, cultural gatherings, and community events.

More than just a performance hall, the new Cavalier will stand as a proud tribute to the rich legacy of Cairo’s African American community—celebrating generations of achievement, excellence, and cultural sophistication.
