Jeff Lovett needs people who are willing to be actors in Thomasville's Good Friday crucifixion re-enactment that he is directing this year. The dramatic program is put on by churches in the Thomasville area at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds on Good Friday (March 25 this year) and rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in Thomasville. He is in need of adult men and women to play a variety of roles plus children of all ages. Speaking and non-speaking roles are available. The next monthly meeting will be Tuesday, February 2 at 7:00 at the Grady Room of Roddenbery Library. We will be electing new officers and setting a date for our summer show "Steel Magnolias".

We are inviting all current, former and prospective members to join us for our January 2016 meeting. Meeting scheduled for Tuesday January 12 2016 in the Grady Room of Roddenbery Memorial Library at 7:00p.m. If you are interested in becoming a member, there are plenty of opportunities to serve other than being on stage. We are always in need of set crews, wardrobe assistants, script readers, publicity, ticket sales, etc. We welcome anyone who is interested in promoting the arts in Grady County. See you there.

Our very own Jeff Lovett has done it again. His play LOVE ON MARS is opening this weekend and next weekend at Thomasville On Stage on Broad Street. You won't want to miss this hilarious comedy about a two man four year mission to Mars gone very, very wrong. Show starts Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 and Sunday afternoons at 2:00.
