The exhibit, "Illuminating Cadiz - Lumieres by Dana Major," is certainly enough of a reason to visit the museum. But Dana is ALSO offering free interactive sessions and workshops during the exhibit!
🔹On Saturday, June 20, at 1PM, Dana will present 10-minute, public one-on-one Crystal Seeing performances in the Light Art environment at the Janice Mason Art Museum. Anyone age 16 or older may receive a Crystal Seeing.
In a Crystal Seeing, Dana sits with an audience volunteer, and uses a quartz crystal ball as a focal point for guided reflection. Rather than predicting the future, the experience helps participants privately clarify their own thoughts, values, and intuition, encouraging insight and personal empowerment.
🔹There will be a Light Catcher Making Workshop on Saturday, July 18, 10 AM-1PM. Create and take home your very own light catcher! In this free, 3 hour workshop, Dana will provide instruction and plenty of modest materials. Additionally, exceptional quality crystals and minerals are available for purchase at a $3 - $15 price range, during the workshop for those who wish to incorporate them into their compositions. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Space is limited for this workshop. Register by contacting the museum at 270-522-9056.
Museum Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10-4; Sunday, 1-4
