We are saddened to learn of the passing of our old SKIT friend Smitty P'Pool. Many will remember him performing in the mid 1980s and early 1990s. His first production with SKIT was "Bus Stop." We will miss his brilliant wit.

A circus-themed show called for some extra décor. Thanks to our artist friends who came through for us in a big way! We appreciate you giving your time to make this year's Dining with the Dearly Departed extra special!

Our time under the BIG TOP has come to an end! We had a fantastic weekend producing the 2025 Dining with the Dearly Departed shows. The audiences were wonderful, our welcoming “Cirque Entourage” was fabulous, the cast did a great job telling their stories, and the food was delicious.

Here are just a few pictures from the show with brief summaries of each character’s scripts. The show was circus-themed this year, featuring various stories about circuses that visited Trigg County since 1820.

We want to say a special thank you to the City of Cadiz, Kentucky for sponsoring the event and for the use of East End Cemetery, and to Hancock's Neighborhood Market for catering the meal. And a big thank you goes to Chad Miracle for videoing and photographing the performances. Photos by DePaul Hendrix are included as well.

We're just a little over a week away from this year's show! There are a dozen tickets left for the Saturday NOON show (Sept 20). The evening performances are sold out! To purchase your tickets, call or stop by the Janice Mason Art Museum - JMAM ASAP. The deadline for tickets is the end of the business day on September 13.

The tent will be located in East End Cemetery, next to Trigg County High School. All performances will be held inside the tent.

Our friends over at The Way Christian Youth Center are holding auditions for an upcoming performance. It is for ages 8 and up.

We had a fantastic weekend producing the 2024 Dining with the Dearly Departed shows. The audiences were wonderful, the cast did a great job telling their stories, and the food was delicious.

Here are just a few pictures from the show with brief summaries of each character’s scripts. This year the show focused on individuals who had worked in the county courthouses over the years.
