Our first festival has come and gone...without a hitch! What a terrific day and turnout! 10 hours of music, countless memories already made.
Thank you to the bands who performed and gave us all your best! The amount of fans you made yesterday is all we heard people talking about! Bands from all over the mitten state...St. Clair Shores, Grand Rapids, Adrian, etc...you have certainly made your presence known. We can't wait to be a part of your journey again!
The volunteers- thank you for bearing the wind and heat. Thank you for going out of your way to make this all run smooth. Thank you Kyle & RJ with The Broken Souls for your security detail and helping to keep our attendees and bands worry-free. Katelynn, Blake, Melissa, Thomas, Steve, Steven, Tami, the Culver's Crew and so many more for keeping operations and admission flowing with ease! Huge shout out to Morgan Smith for the knowledge and determination to help get this festival going (and an amazing guitar fed National Anthem!).
Thank you to Dave Weber and Silvio with Sound Environments for running perfect sound all day long. 15 minute cross-genre change overs are not easy, but these guys made it look like a cake walk. Absolutely phenomenal work and utmost professionalism. Nothing but compliments from bands and attendees alike!
Thank you to the vendors and food/beverage trucks (Beiners Pizza, Barron's Barbecue, Cornerstone Coffee and Batter Up Buttercup) for sacrificing a Saturday and taking a chance at a first time festival! A special thank you to AmVets Post 110 for making sure our thirst was satisfied! πΊ
Thank you to C&W portables for the donation and professionalism! Also to media teams that made sure to capture all of the NMMF acts and performances!
Thank you to the sponsors for your generous contributions. None of this is possible without them. This really shows what an amazing community we have. People coming together to support a music scene that truly benefits everyone, especially our heroes and veterans. Broken Diamond Design has been out here helping with time donation since the start, creating our best flyers and logos alike.
Thank you to the committee, Charlie, Andrew and Alex, for stepping it up and getting things done with terrific ideas and a positive mindset. What a great group of guys to have!
Last but not least, Roger Bandeen and the Veterans Serving Veterans Community Park for giving us a place to call home and for the community effort it really takes to bring this all together.
From a successful 2026, we can't wait for 2027 and it's being put together right now! Over the next few weeks, look for updates, photos and so much more.
