Grand-Art Adventure for Grandparents & Grandkids Sept-Dec 2026

Grand Art-venture is a four-part creative series designed for grandparents and grandchildren to make art, memories, and meaningful connections together. Each session offers a new hands-on adventure made for two—exploring clay, printmaking, fused glass, and colorful flowers made from recycled materials. Come create side by side, try something new, and discover how art can bring generations together.

Ability level: All Ages: 6+

Cost: member $100 non-member $120 (for a pair)
- materials fee: $10 per session to be paid at the beginning of class

TAKE NOTICE that the Cadillac Arts Council Festival of the Arts will hold a SPECIAL meeting on Monday, AUGUST 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at 601 Chestnut Street, Cadillac, MI 49601. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the business of the Council as it relates to the 2026 and 2027 Cadillac Festival of the Arts and to consider any other Arts Council business that may come before the Arts Council FOTA Committee.

This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services who are planning to attend the meeting should notify Mike Filkins, at (231) 884-1082, within a reasonable time in advance of the meeting.

Spark your child’s imagination in our 6-week After School Art Club! This engaging after-school program meets every Thursday from 4-5pm for 1st through 5th grades and 5:15-6:15 for 6th through 9th grades to help young creators explore their unique artistic voice.

Throughout this session, students will dive into a variety of art media, allowing them to experiment, build confidence, and develop real artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each week features a new, hands-on project designed to let their imaginations soar!

Our art council groups are amazing! Starting tonight, the Clam Lake Band begins their season, Jam and Bread supports the UpBeat Cadillac Music Series and also the Friday music festival stage for Cadillac Michigan Freedom Festival!

Cadillac we are better together and we sure love to be a part of this community!
