Tripwire is a Central Arkansas alternative metal and hard rock band formed in 2024. Known for heavy riffs, energetic performances, and a powerful live presence, the band continues to build momentum across the Arkansas music scene.

We would like to take some time over the next few days to highlight these super talented artists and bands that are bringing it to life.

Truly a unique act unlike anything yet, Mike Oregano has fully commercialized both the aesthetic and sonic details of the “One Man Band” concept. He uses his feet to hit a custom built drum set, as well as an array of fully intuitive effect pedals complete with: loopers, bass splits, synthesizers, etc. He records the rhythm (guitar and bass) on the spot, and layers over it live with drums while singing and soloing on his guitar simultaneously.

We want to give a special shoutout to our dear friend Tyler Haley (photographer and bass player for the band Hayefield), who will be capturing all the action both this Friday and Saturday night, and who has also generously offered to throw into the Battle of the Bands prize pot. Performing on Night one is Arisenfall, Catch them on June 26th!

They are a six piece Metalcore group located in central Arkansas. Originally founded in 2021, ArisenFall recently solidified their lineup after several changes up to late 2025. Each member brings their own unique, lifelong music experience to present THE premier up-and-coming group. Keep an eye out for a brand new single at the end of Summer 2026! Don't want to wait? Next up, is the 501 Band, Catch them on Night two, June 27th at the Battle of the Bands!

The 501 Band, formerly known as The Suga Daddies 501 Blues 💙 Band, has played around Arkansas for years.
Venita, better known as Ms. V, began with the band as their Booking Agent, but as fate would have it, she is now the lead female vocalist.
Some of their accolades:
We have won band battles in Pine Bluff, AR and more recently, the 2024 first place winners at the Big Chill in Hot Springs, AR.
We have performed at several venues to include The Dirty Worm Bar and Grill, The Copper Grill, and the Little Rock Downtown Festival, just to name a few.
Our genre is Old School R&B, with a little bit of Jazz, Blues and Country.
We are thankful for the gifts bestowed upon us by our Creator and desire nothing more than to entertain the masses!

Wesley Carmen (Brother Wes),
is a blend of contemporary gospel and rap. He is a registered California Mono Indian born in Little Rock, raised near Yosemite, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He started rapping at a young age just to vent and release emotions. He chose not to record until he found his way into Christian Rap Ministry. He’s been married to his wife for 23 years and is a father of 3 boys. With Wes, it’s simple, God & Family before all else.

Forgive Your Heroes is a hard rock trio from Arkansas blending post-grunge, alternative metal, and modern rock influences into a raw, emotionally driven sound. Drawing inspiration from bands like Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and Chevelle, the band pairs heavy guitars, melodic hooks, and introspective lyrics that explore faith, loss, resilience, and self-discovery.
