We officially did it… both on our ARMS. 🖤🦝🚀
A while back, when Jess’s wife joked that we needed matching trash panda tattoos, we were immediately on board. Then Jess went and published her space-themed, LGBTQ+ friendly children’s book, and naturally we thought: “Bet. Let’s make them SPACE trash pandas.”
And honestly? It couldn’t be more fitting.
Jess and I have been through so many chapters of life together. We grew up together, somehow ended up pregnant at the same time, had our babies just two weeks apart, embraced our new parenthood journey together, and now we’re entering a season where visiting each other means traveling across countries and oceans.
Today was bittersweet as her family is beginning an incredible new adventure as they relocate overseas, and while I couldn’t be more excited or proud of them, saying “see you later” never gets easier. Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye—it’s simply the start of a new chapter.
No matter where life takes us, we’ve always found our way through it together. Through every high, every low, every milestone, every curveball, we’ve remained connected, supportive, and ready to embrace whatever comes next.
Now I’ll have this little space trash panda as a reminder of a friendship that has spanned decades, life stages, motherhood, and now continents.
Jess, I love you. I’m so incredibly proud of you, and I cannot wait to watch your family thrive in this next adventure. 🖤
