🎃🌿 VENDORS WANTED — MONSTERA MASH! 🌿🎃

We’re getting ready for Monstera Mash at McElroy Heritage Farm, and we still have room for more local vendors, crafters & makers!

📅 Saturday, October 3rd
⏰ Vendors: 12–5 PM
🌙 Farm remains open until 7:30 PM
📍 McElroy Heritage Farm | Byesville, Ohio

Monstera Mash is our big fall event at the farm, and we’re planning an afternoon full of shopping, fall fun and plenty to explore around the property—with our Halloween displays and lights taking over as evening approaches! 🎃💀🌿

We’re especially looking for crafters, makers and unique local businesses to join our vendor lineup. We already have bakery vendors covered, but would LOVE to add more handmade, craft and specialty vendors—and we’re still hoping to find a food truck! 🚚

Vendor spaces are at least 12’ × 12’, and vendors provide their own canopy, tables and setup.

💲 Vendor fee: $20
⏰ Setup: 9–11:30 AM
🌿 Outdoor event

We also do our best not to have several vendors offering the same types of products.

🌿 There’s a lot more happening at McElroy Heritage Farm than you might realize…

If you’re new here—or you’ve been following but aren’t quite sure what we’re building—welcome! 💚

McElroy Heritage Farm is a little bit plant shop, a little bit flower farm, a little bit event space…and a whole lot of dreams still in progress.

Around the farm you can:

🌱 Shop houseplants at Plant Fancy
💐 Pick flowers & make your own bouquet when available
🥾 Walk the trails & explore the property
🎨 Join us for classes, workshops & craft nights
🎉 Play Bingo with us each month
🛍️ Shop local vendors at our larger events
🐐 Visit the animals as our farm family grows
🌻 Or simply come enjoy some time outside!

But one of my favorite things about the farm is that it isn’t finished.

We’re building it little by little and adding something new all the time. Some days we’re planting flowers, other days we’re clearing trails, working on the pond, building animal areas, decorating or planning our next event.

You get to watch it grow right along with us. ❤️

My hope is that McElroy Heritage Farm becomes a place you can visit again and again—and always find something new.

🌿 BINGO NIGHTS AT McELROY HERITAGE FARM! 🌿

Bingo has quickly become one of our favorite nights at the farm! 💚 We’ve had so much fun getting together, playing Bingo, laughing, visiting, and of course giving away some pretty great prizes!

🎉 Bingo is held the LAST THURSDAY of every month, and because you all have made it so much fun, we’ve now added one Saturday Bingo each month too!

We plan to keep Bingo going throughout the year… basically until the snow stops us! 😂❄️

Each night includes several rounds of Bingo with prizes, including plants and other fun options. Whether you’re a plant lover or just love a good Bingo night, you’re welcome to join us!

📸 Here are a few pictures from some of our Bingo nights so far. We’ve loved seeing familiar faces come back and new faces join us each time!

🪴 **Plant Fancy, the farm's plant shop, is open by appointment.** Just send me a message and we'll find a time that works for you.

💐 **Cut Your Own Flowers** are available most of the time by appointment! The only exception may be if we've just done a large cut for an upcoming event. Message first and I'll let you know what's available.

🎉 **Need a place for a party or gathering?**
We have an outdoor event area available to rent, complete with a canopy. Message me for details and availability.

Little update on Buddy! 🐾

Since his little disappearing act, I was scared to just let him roam free. I ordered an Apple AirTag and a bright orange collar for it to attach to. It is supposed to be here today, so I was trying my best to keep him happily contained until then.

Over the past two days, I’ve also taken him on lots of walks around the farm, specifically walking him around the areas where I want him to stay. I wanted to give him plenty of chances to learn his surroundings, get familiar with the property, and hopefully start understanding where “home” is.

Thursday: After finding him, he was locked up in the shed with a regular fan and cool-air fan. I sat with him for hours with the door closed so he wouldn’t be scared when I eventually left and shut it. By evening it was just getting too hot, so we moved to the basement plant shop.

I will be honest—it took a LOT of patience. 😂 He was barking and howling, which was setting my two Great Danes crazy. I sat with him until he finally fell asleep after turning on a loud fan and some white noise on the radio. And guess what? He slept through the night!

Friday: I took him out for another morning walk around the property and then back to the basement. At this point, he had definitely had enough of me locking him up. 😂 I had to leave for a few hours, so my nephew came and sat with him all day.

When I got home, I knew he needed to start getting used to being alone, so I tried leaving him for a short period.

Well… the first picture happened. 🤦‍♀️

I didn’t know what to do. I was afraid he was going to hurt himself trying to get out, but I was also afraid that if I let him loose, he would take off again—especially since he was probably pretty mad at me by then! 😂 I just wanted ONE more night until his AirTag arrived.

Finally, I made the decision to let him roam… and pray a LOT! 🙏😂

I checked the cameras throughout the night, and I am VERY happy to say that he stayed all night! He just roamed around the yard, checked things out, and laid in the driveway. That’s the second picture! ❤️

So today Buddy gets his AirTag, and after all the walking we’ve done around the property and watching him last night, I really feel like he is starting to understand where home is and where he belongs.

I think he just wants the freedom to do his job, patrol his area, and keep an eye on everything.

And I am extremely excited to say…

I think this is going to work out!! ❤️🐾

I’ll admit, I was worried there for a bit.
