🪩Meet the UGrooves Family! 🪩

Next up is one of my biggest helpers and one of my right-hand girls, my sister Meggie! 🫶🏼

Meggie is always willing to jump in and help with classes, our dancers, and all the little behind-the-scenes things that keep UGrooves running. She loves getting to know our dancers, cheering them on, and being part of their dance journey!

When she’s not helping at the studio, you’ll usually find her spending time with her daughter and making memories together. And if you ever need music recommendations, Meggie has you covered — her playlist can go from The Beatles to Ozzy Osbourne real quick! 🎶

I’m so thankful to have my sister by my side and couldn’t do this without her! 💜

🪩Meet the UGrooves Family!🪩

Next up, I’d love to introduce you to my cousin, Kellie! 💜

Hi everyone! I’m Kellie Maloughney, and I absolutely love being a part of the UGrooves Dance Studio family! I’ve been dancing for almost my whole life, and sharing that passion with our dancers is something I truly enjoy.

Outside of dance, I love playing and coaching volleyball, spending time with my friends and family, and doing just about anything outdoors. I’m also a teacher, so getting to be a positive part of kids’ lives both in and out of the classroom means so much to me.

I believe dance is a place where kids can shine, build confidence, and truly be themselves. I’m so grateful to be part of the UGrooves team, and I can’t wait for another amazing season with all of our wonderful dance families! 💜

We are so thankful to have Kellie on our team! Her love for teaching, encouraging kids, and sharing her passion for dance makes such a positive impact on our dancers. We can’t wait for everyone to get to know her even better this season!🫶🏼

One of my favorite things about UGrooves is that it truly is a family affair. While you may see me teaching classes, there are so many people behind the scenes who help make this studio what it is. Over the next few weeks, I’d love to introduce you to the amazing family members who pour so much love into UGrooves!

💜 Meet my sister, Sage!

Hi! I’m Sage! I’m so excited to be back for another season at the studio! I spend my days working with kids while finishing my bachelor’s degree. Outside of that, I love spending time with my family, hanging out with my pup, Harlee, and making memories with the people I love.

I’m looking forward to another year of cheering everyone on, helping wherever I can, and getting to know even more of our amazing dance families!

We are so lucky to have Sage as part of our UGrooves family. You’ll see her helping in classes, encouraging our dancers, and lending a hand behind the scenes whenever it’s needed. She has such a kind heart, and our dancers absolutely love having her around! 💜

✨ UGrooves Season 2 is HERE! ✨
Our 2026-2027 class schedule is officially out! 🪩

After an amazing first season, I am so excited to continue growing our UGrooves family! 🤍 My goal has always been to create a fun, low-pressure, family-oriented environment where dancers can build confidence, make friendships, and truly enjoy their dance experience.

You’ll notice we’ve added a few more classes this season to give our dancers even more opportunities to learn and grow! ✨

Our 2026-2027 classes include:

✨ Ballet
✨ Jazz
✨ Tumbling
✨ Technique Classes
✨ Combo Cuties Classes (perfect for our younger dancers to explore multiple styles!)

🪩A little update & getting to know me a little better

Hi UGrooves families! I thought it was time for a little reintroduction and update from the person behind the studio. 🫶🏼

I’m Makayla, the owner and instructor of UGrooves Dance Studio! When I opened UGrooves last October, I had a dream of creating a place where dancers could feel confident, encouraged, and excited to come learn. This past April, we wrapped up our very first dance season, and looking back, I am just so incredibly grateful. Watching this studio grow and seeing these dancers learn, improve, and share their love for dance has been such a special experience.

Dance has always been my favorite thing to do. There is just something so amazing about music, movement, and watching someone find joy and confidence through dance. Getting to teach something I love so much truly feels like a dream, and I don’t take that opportunity for granted.

Outside of the studio, I’m also a mama to two little ones who keep life exciting! My baby girl joined our family in December, and I also have an almost 3-year-old little boy who keeps me very busy. Balancing motherhood and growing UGrooves has been a new adventure, but it has made this journey even more meaningful. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of building UGrooves has been having my family and friends so involved along the way. From supporting my crazy ideas, helping behind the scenes, cheering me on, and being a part of this journey, it has truly made this dream even more special. I love that UGrooves isn’t just something I do — it has become something my family gets to be a part of too. 💜

Thank you to everyone who has supported UGrooves, cheered us on, brought your dancers to class, and trusted me to be a part of their dance journey. I’m so excited for what this next season has in store and can’t wait to keep watching our UGrooves family grow! 🪩

We had the best time dancing in the parade and celebrating with our amazing community! Thank you to everyone who cheered us on, to our incredible dancers and families, and a very special thank you to my incredible family for all of your help today. We truly couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️
