Second year of Butler Italian Days in the book for the Sons and Daughters of Italy Butler Lodge 🇮🇹
Our club thanks EVERYONE who showed up for our community event- the local businesses who sponsor, the vendors, the entertainment, the city police, & Parks and Rec- without this support, this event would not be SUCCESSFUL!!
So here it goes- it's a long post PLEASE READ
We want to thank our volunteers 💚🤍❤️, it's more hectic at times then one could EVEN imagine- long hours & constantly on the go - without our volunteer staff this event would NOT be possible! 🇮🇹
We want to thank our bartenders & barbacks, this event is a big ask to pull off with our small staff from our club- and they killed it both days, especially during the entertainment.
Entertainment- THANK YOU, everyone who stepped on our stage both days- rocked! And the entertainment would not be possible without Tim Connell the sound guy! He put in long hours both days- setting up, accommodating all the bands for sound and lights & tearing down.
And our Stage Sponsor- Duff's Lawncare for the donation to cover the rental of the stage, without this our entertainment would have been ground level.
We want to thank the Italian Society, not only are they a Gold Sponsor for this event, but their ladies auxiliary step in and helped in so many ways both days for our event, they go above and beyond each year 💚
The Bocce Ball Tournament - thank you Hank Leyland- he took this idea and volunteered his time to organize, build & run this Bocce court both days! He sought out the sponsor, KRG Entertainment to cover the cost. All proceeds went to Butler HS Unified "Bocce" & Track Teams. This will be a great addition to Butler Italian Days years to come now, from all his hard work & dedication- salute to him!
Kids' Corner- Special thanks to Fresh Tent & Party Rentals for donating the Tent, Tables, Chairs & the awesome blow up games for the kids!! Justin was so generous for the donation, setting up & tearing down he was awesome to work with, check them out- they offer everything you would need for your next party!
Mini Golf- Steel City Mobile Mini Golf brought to you by 9 different Tee Sponsors all local businesses- thank these sponsors when you see them, they all hope your kiddos enjoyed the free Mini Golf!
We do have to apologize if you came out Friday night for the petting zoo, Little Blessings Farm Petting Zoo & Boutique canceled Friday at 12:40 via email due to parking demands they made Thursday night at 10:30 pm, that we didn't even have a chance to rectify Friday before they just up and canceled on us, theb would not answer our calls. We scrambled and call every petting zoo in the area, but couldn't find a replacement due to the short noticed. Our sincere apologies to the kids and any issues this may have caused 😢
Armstrong- for producing & airing a commercial this year for us, this was TREMENDOUS for our turn out this year! We appreciate the support from them, more then we can express.
We love this event, we love seeing everyone enjoying themselves & mingling- it's alot of work all year round but in the end it's so worth it. Much love Butler 🇮🇹
Also- photo drop your time at Butler Italian Days 2026- we'd love to see!
Watch out 2027- we'll give you the dates as soon as we know!
Ciao for now!
