Alfredo update 💚💚

He's quite the silly little guy 🥹 and a complete churu addict 🥴if he doesn't have his morning churu....he's howling until he get it 🥴😅

I started bringing him into the bedroom with his brother and rally and it's been going well. He's definitely going to be an introverted kitty too 😳 I'm honestly wondering if it's going to be a battle over the bed because Pirelli currently owns the king title (he also has no desire to explore the house 😅).

So far only Mochi doesn't like him.....maybe because they're both moo cow cats 🤔

I'm just trying to be extra careful and prevent any aggression since Alfredo is FIV positive 💚

I'm still just in disbelief we caught him and his brother the same way 😅😅😅

Oh and he's leaky eye......I've been giving him lysine but I'm not sure it's helping so if anyone has any other suggestions (I'd prefer not to take him back to the vet ....he's pretty terrified of men 😞)

It's holiday mode now 🎃

Time to fill the pyrex/Corelle ring tray up, revamp the website and start on everything for the holidays 🌲

Since I'm not doing too many events this holiday season, I'll be focusing more on online (or if you're local.....pick out and pick up - something I've wanted to do if we ever got my studio renovated 😅).

What do you want to see more of this holiday season? 🌲🌲

The fall leaves branch 🍁🍁🍁

It's no surprise I love all things plants and trees 💚🌿 and my last branch sold at the Mt Lebo Art Festival so it was only fitting to make a fall version of this one 🍁

I'm currently in holiday mode right now 😳 I didn't realize all the holiday markets are starting in a couple weeks! 😅

Personally I'm still in the mindset it's the end of summer 🥴😅

The Holiday Schedule 🌲

There is also our big Black Friday thru Cyber Monday sale too 🌲🌲

Ohio friends, I'm sorry I'm not sure what happened! I applied to Screw Factory and it's been radio silent 😞 if I happen to get accepted I'll update the schedule 😫

Now that outdoor markets have come to a close for us this year.....I think I can finally relax a bit 😅

It's been a year........wind, rain, storms, tornados, heat advisories 😅😅

Anyway here's a little behind the scenes on our side of the table 😅 yes it's messy and unorganized 😅😅😅

We went to an art show last weekend, our local mall is trying to revitalize it again and they're bringing small businesses in 💚

We met some INCREDIBLE artists, venturing out into the market world or just sharing their stories.

In a world full of Ai ( excuse me.....Si 🥴😅) slop, its important to recognize all forms of handmade art 💚 even participating at fine art festivals this year.....we've seen the presence of Ai things 😞

Anyway, check out these amazing artists 💚💚

THANK YOU 🎃🎃 thank you all so much for all the support and love from Sunday's shop update 🎃🎃

I got most packaged up yesterday and shipping out today 🎃🎃 and some of the others I'll be working on today (or trying too....the roofers left around 6pm yesterday)

If you missed something (like the ghosts....I'm trying to get some more!) let me know, I always save some extra so I can make more too 👻

Happy Tuesday friends 🎃

It's roof day 🤪 it's also our 5 year anniversary at the house 🥹

When we purchased this 5 years ago.....we were told the roof was only 10 years old and in great condition 😅 boy were they wrong 😅😅 that first winter we had our first leak....we had our insurance adjusted out and they laughed....saying this roof is 20+ years old we aren't covering any damages (we couldn't fight anything since we bought this house as an estate- the former owner passed away). So we patched and repaired as we could.....then all the problems started happening 😅

We were literally living out the movie money pit (I still think we are 😅😅). The second owners really did a number on this house and their lack of maintenance 😞

Fast forward to now.....I know I share a lot in stories but just getting quotes for the roof was INSANE...... literally one was 95k 🥴😅 obviously we didn't pick them because that's a ridiculous amount 😅

And as always, I'm transparent - this is costing 44k which we took out. HELOC (home equity line of credit) because even that was a huge number 😞 it's the unfortunate side of owning a poorly cared for MCM home 😞

This side of the house will be traditional shingles but the low pitched areas (that no one can see) will be TPO rubber (and the flat roofs too)

On the upside......we won't have to worry about this for 20 years 😅

Anyway, here's some pictures from today.....the boys are definitely not pleased with all the noise 😅 somehow mochi squeezed his large body under the dresser 😅

Would you want to see more on the house too 🤔 I have a video when we moved in and then I tried to recreate it to now too!
