In June 2025, this sweet couple, Carlee and Zack, stood beneath the pecan trees and began their life together as husband and wife. Now, they’ve returned to the same orchard—this time with their precious new baby, Cal Walker, in their arms.
We are so honored that The Hill gets to be a small part of their story.

Spotlight on this setup from a month ago.

A warm, collected table setting featuring distressed farm tables dating to the 1950s, classic brown X-back chairs, a mix of vintage Metlox Vineyard china and timeless white dinnerware, and an eclectic assortment of jewel-toned and clear glassware. Simple bud vases with beautiful blooms by Hailee Kate Locke of Kate’s Blooms are nestled among glowing ivory tapers and votive candles, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

A Little Note About Parking at The Hill 🤍

There is one detail I find myself repeating at almost every event at The Hill: please keep the lawn and area between the pecan trees and the event spaces free of vehicles.

The photos shown here are simply examples using scenes from weddings that have taken place at The Hill. This post is not directed toward any one person or any particular event. It’s something I have to remind most everyone about, so I thought it might be helpful to explain why it matters so much.

This area is part of the experience of your wedding day. It is where the bride and groom, wedding party, and families may walk to the ceremony, and it is also part of the path your guests use as they make their way to the reception. When cars and trucks are parked there, guests have to maneuver between vehicles, and those vehicles also become the backdrop for some of the most important photographs of the day.

Your photographers are always so appreciative when this area is kept clear. It gives them beautiful, unobstructed views and the freedom to capture the bride and groom, wedding party, families, and the property without trying to photograph around parked vehicles.

When I ask that vehicles be moved, I promise I’m not trying to be mean or difficult. Quite the opposite—I’m trying to protect the beautiful event you have worked so hard to plan. I want your guests to have a welcoming entrance, your photographer to have the best possible setting, and your pictures to be something you love for years to come.

So when I’m stressing, “Please don’t park there!” just know it comes from a good place. 🤍 I want your day at The Hill to be the very best it can be—because so often, it really is the little details that make all the difference.

The cowhide, soft florals, and draped fabric made a beautiful backdrop for Keelie and JR’s wedding ceremony in the orchard. Afterward, they moved it to the reception, where it became a lovely spot for photos with family and friends.

Every couple brings their own style to their wedding, and their personalities shine through in the details. That's what makes each celebration so personal and unique.
