Electric Wheel's Oval Dirt Classes have been gaining in popularity over the last several weeks. It's great to see these racers battling it out on the 8-lane oval every Tuesday night. We have a great mix of new and old racers including some that battled it out in real dirt cars at Lernerville and the like.

That all being said its important to be aware of Electic Wheel's regulations for all classes. All of our class regulations are on our website under "Race Info".

A particular note regarding our Dirt Late Model and Dirt Modified classes. The regulations for these classes are "based" on the current AWRA rules with a FEW EXCEPTIONS. Please review the regulations carefully as there are differences. These regs have been in place since we started the classes with only some changes in body selections. Our goal is to have a level playing field for both the new and old racers as well as make it possible to be able to supply all parts used by our racers.

For those who want to check it out, the oval is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of slot car racing. Electric Wheel has everything you need to get started. Please come see it in action!

Electric Wheel is proud to honor Brad Ellenberger as the first of our racers to receive the Pro Silver Award! Last week's Oval results from the Electric wheel . . . Taking the win in the Dirt Late Model class was Dave Lape, followed by Garry Wiles in second and Brad Ellenberger in third. Again taking the win in the Dirt Modified class it was Dave Lape, followed by Brady Ellenberger in second and Bill Horsman taking third.

Electric wheel's Oval has been going off over the last several weeks. Several new racers are hitting the track as well as a bunch of regulars. We race the Dirt Late Model and Dirt Modified Womps on Tuesday nights. It's a fun and competitive class with lots of close action. Check out the results from the beginning of August!

Results from last week's NASCAR Stock and Brushless Flexi classes. Nine racers made for a great night of racing!

In the NASCAR Stock class it was Steve Plosunak taking the win by a mere one lap ahead of Alex Richardson. Alex's father, Jeremy Richardson, rounded off the podium in third.

The Brushless Flexi class is crazy fast racing. Last week it was Alex Richardson taking the win, followed by Dan Ebert in second and Ted Back in third.

Check out the action this week on Thursday evening! First class hits the track at 7 pm.

Electric Wheel is excited to announce our "RACE TO SAVE" awards program. It's a great way to save $$ on your hobby while enjoying racing. It's quite simple each racer will earn points based on their finishing positions in every class they race. Once a racer achieves various levels of points, they will earn rewards. There are three levels:

Pro Silver – 10% off all cars, parts and accessories purchased in-store and online.
Pro Gold – Includes Pro Silver benefits plus unlimited free practice and testing.
Pro Platinum – Includes Silver and Gold benefits plus all race fees reduced to $5 each.

It's been a busy couple months at the Electric Wheel! Finally getting around to posting the results for the month of July for our Tuesday Night Oval action. We've had good turnouts with a number of our racers being past sprint car drivers from our local dirt tracks. We also have a number of new racers on both our Oval and Gerding King. It's good to see racers getting back to the hobby!
