Is it mid-September already?! Wow, time flies! (Hee hee hee!)

While we announced our shows at our Kickoff Picnic a few weeks ago, we can now announce that our Fall Play is Switching Principals by Pat Cook and our Spring Musical is Finding Neverland!

Switching Principals is a comical play about a con man named George and his quick-witted sidekick, Madge. After causing a car accident, they pose as the new principal (and secretary) of Marvin Gardens High School. Together, they attempt to smooth-talk their way out of trouble and arrest! Despite their shenanigans, George, Madge, the staff, and the school board of the high school all gain a measure of wisdom in the end.

Did you ever wonder how J. M. Barrie came up with the idea for Peter Pan? It wasn't easy... Finding Neverland sets his journey to music as he befriends a widowed mother and her imaginative sons who become the inspiration for his enduring masterpiece.

Summer is underway... and what can make a summer day even better? A musical, of course! North Catholic Drama Department's Drew Haring '26 is performing as a Teen Ensemble member in the Pittsburgh CLO's production of Beautiful - The Carol King Musical! If you liked seeing him on stage at North, now you can see him at the Benedum! Break a leg, Drew!

Beautiful - The Carol King Musical is playing now through June 28th.

Congratulations to the Cast, Crew, and Pit of Footloose! Tonight, at the Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards, we won BEST Scenic Design and BEST Lighting for our budget level (2)!

We are warming up at the ! Tonight we are nominated for Best Crew/Technical Ex*****on, Best Ensemble, Best Lighting Design, Best Scenic Design, and Best Musical in Budget Level 2! Abby Brown as Ariel Moore is a finalist for Best Actress!

We are very excited!

North Catholic Drama Department's Abby Brown has been very busy as of late! First, she played the role of Ariel Moore in our production of Footloose. Then, she became a Best Actress Finalist in the Henry Mancini Musical Theater Awards. Most recently, she has been in the New Hazlett Theater's production of Speak, an adaptation of Laurie Halse Anderson's young adult novel of the same name, as an understudy and ensemble member! Wow!

The Henry Mancini High School Musical Awards will be held at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School on Sunday, May 17th; our fingers are crossed for you, Abby!

Speak has been running at the New Hazlett Theater since May 1st and closes this weekend on May 10th.
