We are warming up at the ! Tonight we are nominated for Best Crew/Technical Ex*****on, Best Ensemble, Best Lighting Design, Best Scenic Design, and Best Musical in Budget Level 2! Abby Brown as Ariel Moore is a finalist for Best Actress!

We are very excited!

North Catholic Drama Department's Abby Brown has been very busy as of late! First, she played the role of Ariel Moore in our production of Footloose. Then, she became a Best Actress Finalist in the Henry Mancini Musical Theater Awards. Most recently, she has been in the New Hazlett Theater's production of Speak, an adaptation of Laurie Halse Anderson's young adult novel of the same name, as an understudy and ensemble member! Wow!

The Henry Mancini High School Musical Awards will be held at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School on Sunday, May 17th; our fingers are crossed for you, Abby!

Speak has been running at the New Hazlett Theater since May 1st and closes this weekend on May 10th.
