I ain’t gonna lie, this one didn’t shape up how I expected it to. A lot of curve balls. I was a little concerned after all of the scheduling changes. Two of our “paid regulars” couldn’t make it. But, s**t happens. We figured it out. It was a great mic. The audience stayed until the end.

Looking forward to seeing a couple of standout comics on the main stage soon.

Cody Daniel Hughes is a MONSTER on stage!! Great job, brother. Thanks for being so flexible.

🎤 We’ve got 3 bucket spots open tonight.

If you’ve been meaning to get up, come hang, or just get your face around the club a little more, this is a good night for it.

Nothing crazy… just a chance to grab some stage time, support the show, and be part of the room.

To get in the bucket, you’ll need to be at the pre-show meeting at 6:30 PM at the club. Once the show starts, the bucket’s closed. No late adds.

Three spots. Come say what’s up if you’re feeling it.

Quick note for everyone who hopes to jump on this mic 👇🏾

If you’re able to grab a spot on the show, we’ve gotta be able to communicate with you.

That means:
• You have a Facebook or Instagram profile (preferably both)
• I can actually FIND you and add you to the Messenger group
• You can receive the promo assets
• And yes… you’re expected to promote the show

This is NOT a bringer show.
You DON’T have to bring people to perform.

But you DO HAVE to help put some energy behind the show by promoting it. If you’re not setup to or willing to do that, we’re not a good fit. No hard feelings…

Right now, I’ve got four people signed up that I can’t reach.

No profiles… or profiles that look like they were created 7 minutes ago by a ghost 👻

And if I can’t find you, I can’t add you.
If I can’t add you, I can’t help you.

So stand by… there’s a good chance four spots may open up.

If you grab one of those spots, just make sure this process is a good fit first.

🕛 12:00 PM (Noon) — LOCAL comics only
If you live within 60 miles of the Cincinnati Funny Bone, you’re considered local.

🕒 3:00 PM — OUT-OF-TOWN comics
If you’re coming in from more than 60 miles away (Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, etc.), this is your link.

Quick HEADS UP before the chaos begins…

The sign-up link for the April 2nd mic goes out THIS Monday, March 30th
🕛 12:00 PM for local comics
🕒 3:00 PM for out-of-town comics

Out-of-town means you live more than 60 miles away from the club.

And just so we’re all on the same page…
If you’re local comic and grab an out-of-town spot, you won’t be performing on future mics.
