In the expansive Texas Panhandle, Piehl Barn sits as a standout venue for social events and weddings near the small community of Bushland, 10 miles west of Amarillo. The barn was originally built by the Piehl family

for their children to raise show animals, but with the family’s philanthropic and social involvement in Amarillo, friends and acquaintances began asking the Piehls to use their barn for special events. Piehl Barn eventually became a place of its own, hosting fundraisers for local charitable organizations at no charge. Scores of receptions have been celebrated in the barn, decorated with popular themes varying from rustic to vintage funk to even modern, elegant receptions with crystal columns, polished dance floors, and a stage and light show for live music. With the over-sized arena, full kitchen catering area, and ample views, the Piehl Barn embodies the wide-open frontier of the Panhandle.
