The Van Horn Mansion is in Burt, NY in the Town of Newfane, North of Lockport on Route 78. On October they have Candlelight Haunted Tours.
The video below captured the sound of The Van Horn Mansion Ghost walking on the balcony. There was no on the balcony outside of the room we were in, except the second group in the basement. The footsteps were of man with boots walking on the floor. Both set of stairs are too creaky for someone to sneek up to us. I tested it out.

I had bought the Nikon D5100 in June 2012 and this was the first week of November, I didn't know that there was a Night Vision setting. That is why the video clip is dark. But I think that there was not enough light in the room to give good results with Night Vision. The important part is what is on the Audio. You can hear the Footsteps Start, pause, and start again. (You need to increase the volume to hear the first set of Footsteps.) It was for the second louder Footsteps that I displayed the text on the screen about the Footsteps.
There are Timestamps in the Video Description of the interesting items and it points to the section with the Ghost Footsteps. I had made the video and I hadn't realized (heard) that the first Footsteps were there until I cranked the volume up while watching. They occur right before the text comes up on the screen saying the sound of footsteps.
