Results from the Clay County Fair Speedway Thursday night
Heat race- P6 to P6 we had some speed but we kinda missed the set up a bit and track was still pretty narrow yet. As videographer Rylin says, we had to much dig😂 video to show off the dig

Feature P12 to P7 on a green to checkers run
Would have loved to see a caution because we were moving pretty good but everyone got so spread out and just ran out of time but that’s the way she goes!

Huge thank you to all of the help and support as it’s the only way we get to do it! There’s some specials here and there throughout the next month or so but we will just see how it goes with our busy fall season with work!

Well folks I’m finally able to write a Super nationals recap without tearing up😂😉 so here we go…

Sunday prelude to SN:
- Heat started 2nd and drove her to the win
Then we had a rain out for the feature.

Monday Day 1 of SN:
- Heat started 1st fell back to 2nd and made a last corner pass for the win
- Feature started 5th and got up to a comfortable 2nd but with what felt like 49 cautions the track slowed down big time and the car just wasn’t working very well for us after that. Fell back a few spots and got collected with somebody on a restart, spun out and had to go back to the tail, ended up 17th. That one really hurt because we were close for so long, but just couldn’t finish it out

Tuesday Day 2 of SN:
- Heat started 6th was able to get up to 3rd, and then after a DQ in tech we ended up getting the #2 position
- Feature started 13th, 1st lap in couple guys got together and spun out, and I had to spin out to avoid wrecking the car. There rules are if you are stopped under yellow you get sent to the tail. So we had a complete restart but I was back to P28. Got up to 14th in 8 laps or so, but with 8 to go had a guy cross over right front of me and I hit him with my RF tire causing a flat tire. Pit crew did an awesome job of changing out the tire in a little amount of time, and I finished 18th

Thought we were going to have a good shot in the last chance qualifier they have on Wednesday, HOWEVER with the rain we received Tuesday night they cancelled the last chance qualifier and only took the top 6 in points, we were 11th. So our week is done, but that’s Boone Baby!🙃 We’ll try again next year

Gut wrencher for the A- Main😔 was able to get up to second an had a very good car but after about the 6th restart🙄 the track started to slick off and the car went away. Fell back a ways then made some contact with someone and spun out. Ended up 17th.

We were able to pick up the heat race win! Redrew P5 for the qualifying feature!! Need to make top 4 to get into the dance on Saturday! Going to be tough but the car is really good right now, let’s see what we can do!!🏁🏁

Started second in the heat and drove away with it! Redrew number two for the feature!🤘🏼🤘🏼 rain is coming but we need a miracle so we can get this race in🙏🏻🙏🏻

We are down here at the Boone Speedway IMCA Super Nationals! Parked in section QQ swing on by and say hi! We will be racing the prelude to super nationals tomorrow then qualifying Monday and Tuesday!🤞🏻🤞🏻🏁

Race Week Recap
Monday 8-17 at the Clay County Fair Speedway
Heat 4th to 4th
Feature 9th to 6th with a green to checkers feature. Felt like we had a pretty solid car just needed a caution to get everyone bunched back together
Thursday 8-20 at the Kossuth County Speedway for the Season Championship night
Heat 7th to 3rd
Feature 3rd to 4th
Took to long to find the groove but once we found it we had a pretty good car but just couldn’t do anything with it but happy with finishing the year off with a top 4!
Saturday 8-22 at the Boone Speedway
Qualifying 1- 9th to 6th
Feature- 26th to 12th!
For just going down there to try some stuff we were very happy with the run. Found some things we liked that hopefully will help us out for Super nationals and to fill the notebook!
