May 2, 2026 - Here are some of our members who attended our dear Michael Jones’ Celebration of Life service today at Trinity Church. (A few had left the reception afterwards by the time I took this picture…sorry, y’all!) The service was a lovely musical celebration of our oboe-playing friend and colleague. We will always miss you, Michael! 💜🎶💜

The Toe River Chamber Ensemble's annual Holiday Concert will take place on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church on the Burnsville Town Square. We hope you will join us for an evening of orchestral favorites of the holiday season! This local community orchestra includes members from Yancey, Mitchell, Madison, and Buncombe Counties and is directed by Kevin Paul. Admission to the concert is free, but donations to support the ensemble are gratefully accepted. We hope to see you there!
