🥁🎶 Adding another weapon to the music setup!

Picked up the Alesis Strike MultiPad and I’m excited to start working it into both my music creation and DJ Freddie C live sets.

Being able to trigger drums, percussion, samples, loops, effects, and custom sounds LIVE is going to open up a whole new level of creativity. Instead of just playing the track, I can actually perform parts of it and remix things on the fly.

Time to load this thing up and start creating! 🔥🥁🎧

I learned something interesting about music streaming that really put things into perspective for me. 🎶

According to Luminate's 2025 music data, roughly 88% of tracks on streaming services received 1,000 streams or fewer during the entire year.

Meanwhile, my music catalog has now crossed 100,000 total streams, and I'm averaging around 100 streams a week without doing much promotion.

That made me realize something:

I don't need to chase streams. I need to keep creating.

The part I love isn't marketing, making endless promotional videos, chasing playlists, or paying companies hoping they'll get people to listen.

I love creating the song.

So that's the plan from here:

🎵 Create one quality song at a time.
🚀 Release it.
📱 Post about it when I feel like it.
🎹 Move on to the next creation.

No more worrying about whether every song becomes a hit. No more marketing treadmill.

I'm building a catalog of music that represents something I genuinely enjoy doing.

Create. Release. Repeat.

If people listen, thank you. If they share it, even better. But I'm making the music because I love making music.

🌴 It's official...

After months of writing, producing, refining, and mastering, my new album Summer State of Mind is complete and scheduled for release on August 8, 2026.

This project has been one of the most rewarding creative journeys I've ever taken. Every song tells a different story—from summer romance and unforgettable nights to personal growth, heartbreak, and overcoming life's challenges.

One of the tracks, Beautiful Disaster, alone went through 38 different versions before I found the sound that matched the vision in my head. That process reminded me that great music isn't rushed—it's crafted.
