Today marks 1 year for us here at The Breakaway! We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you that have shown us your patronage, love, and support! To our closer friends, thank you for the countless hours you put in to support us along the way from painting, constructing, listening to me complain when things weren’t done right, and especially for making this place what it is today! Thank you to all of my fellow pool players that have made their way through the doors to help support the game as I strive to keep it top notch for all of you from the streaming, to the weekly table/ball maintenance, and the welcoming environment! Thank you to our community for being so inviting as we brought something new and different to this location other than what it’s always been. There has been many questions as to where The Breakaway name came from. No, it originally had nothing to do with Pool as much as many may think! The best part about The Breakaway is it means something different to everyone! As someone said on our opening day 1 year ago today, it is the place to Breakaway from your everyday; To Breakaway from the chain; To Breakaway from the normal. It’s a place to bring Friends and Family together. It’s OUR place, and that includes all of you! I want to give special thanks to my team here as I rely heavily on them also! Thank you Jeremy Perleberg, Aaron Saylor, Ashley Roberts, Kyleigh Straube, Connor Bourdo, Tanner Wesley, Kathy Jensen, Austin Farrell, and Josh Kafura. Thank you Mike Ezelle for making the tournaments a priority for these players every weekend! Thank you Jeff French, Nick Riggle, Melanie Riggle, Gage Fitzpatrick for all of the hard work and support you have given. Thank you to Experience Burlington WI for all of your support! And a very special thank you to my wife Korin Michelle and my kids for dealing with all the craziness day in and day out. I could tag MANY more people but I would be here all night typing! This place wouldn’t be what it is without LITERALLY each and every one of you reading this! From me and my family, THANK YOU! Please continue to support our dream!
Cheers to another year!
