Five years ago, I began my felting journey, and it has been both fun and therapeutic. Recently, I revisited my earlier experiments with an open mind, and what a revelation that was! It feels like reading an old diary; I can see how far I’ve traveled. The felting world is full of talent and creativity, it can be overwhelming at times. Although my older work seems raw and naive, there’s something adventurous about it. They’re invaluable reminders of the playful spirit that got me started. I decided to rework these pieces (as shown in the two wall pieces on the left), and now, with pride, I’m ready to part with them.

My morning distraction - home grown necklace of the day🌸
The flower bud from Chinese magnolia has subtle aroma like jasmine. It reminds me of the summers in Shanghai. I was so happy when I spotted this tree in a nursery near me, without a doubt I took it home two summers back. Now it’s happy in my garden.
