A powerful closing night for the 2026 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival. 🎷

"A Nation Listens" brings together jazz visionaries Mark Turner Jazz, Chris Potter, and Julian Lage for an ambitious evening confronts history, identity, and the unresolved tensions at the heart of the American story.

Including Turner’s musical interpretation of The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man and a world premiere inspired by abolitionist John Brown: this performance confronts the past while reflecting on the realities that still shape the present. "A Nation Listens" closes the festival with depth, urgency, and a clear-eyed look at the ghosts we continue to live with.
