It's National Breastfeeding Month and breastfeeding parents are doing...a lot. ❤️

According to the 2026 State of Breastfeeding Survey we conducted with Medela:

🤱 More than 70% of breastfeeding parents pump
🚗 77% have pumped or nursed in their car
🚽 36% have pumped or nursed in a bathroom
🏢 Nearly 1 in 3 lack reliable access to a workplace lactation space

The good news? Parents are incredibly committed to giving their babies breast milk. So the challenge isn't motivation—it's navigating a world that still doesn't consistently support breastfeeding families.

That's why dedicated lactation spaces matter. They make it easier for parents to meet their feeding goals at work, on the go, and everywhere in between.
