Calling all fans of 1776 and Hamilton! Have we got a show for you!!! For those who don't know, here's a bit about each of the shows:

1776 is a Tony Award-winning musical with a book by Peter Stone and music/lyrics by Sherman Edwards, dramatizing the debates and conflicts of the Second Continental Congress leading to the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

HAMILTON is a revolutionary Broadway musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda that tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton through a score blending hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and show tunes, with a diverse cast playing historical figures.

Are we ready for some old-time western music?! I am champing* at the bit.

Since we are feeling a little "bit" nostalgic, I thought I'd post this too... "Champing" is the original, historically correct term. It refers to the grinding or gnawing of teeth.

But regardless of how we say it, it covers our eager anticipation for this music. Come on out to Lyceum Hall June 12, 7p.
