…our Spring Green Tour took us to Osage City today. Our first stop was, Osage Garden & Produce. Owners Becky & Craig shared with us the story behind opening their doors and gave us a tour of their inside shop as well as their greenhouses. While they are on their tail end of plant season, there was SO much beauty. They gave a shout-out to the Council Grove Nursery as well whom them work with to bring extra beauty to the Osage City area. They are shifting into their busy produce season and were expecting fresh watermelon & peaches later that day. A few of our patrons loaded up on some beautiful flowers and some great garden plants as well!
Next up, we stopped by Osage Hardware. We had passed by and saw some beautiful hanging plants so made sure to check out what else they had to offer. Their outdoor area is a beautiful oasis of flowers, plants, water features and birds. The store itself offers SO many different options outside of hardware itself. Everywhere you looked there was something different and unique. Great stop if you’re in town.
Lunch was at, Marilynn's Place. The special was hot roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy and a roll which seemed to be the popular pick of the group. We also snagged some pie to go as well. Strawberry rhubarb& coconut cream to name a couple! The food was great and Everyone left with full bellies.
Osage City did not disappoint. 💐 🪴 🌺
Our last stop was The Burger Shack Diner. While most who were there were sitting down for lunch—we were on a mission for ice cream! 🍨 While we were waiting we saw many meals pop up in the window that made us all happy it’s on our trip list for a lunch outing in the near future as well!
