âŚspecial request trip for the, Pieces & Patches Quilt Guild, for a quilt shop hopâso today we loaded up and did just that! And boy these ladies know how to shop!
Our first stop was, The Fabric Chic & Stashworthy Fabric, in Parkville, MO. The shops were so quaint and cute with beautiful fabric. The entire town truly looked like it could be out of a sweet hometown TV series. Will definitely go back.
Next up, we traveled to Mission, KS where we visited, KC Maker Studio. This place is HUGE with fabric and tools in every inch of the building! They also have large machines in the back where we could see some quilters at work!
By this time, we had reached the lunch portion of our trip and headed to, Burg & Barrel. The special and popular menu item today was, you guessed it a cheeseburger and fries for $10. That was the pick of most of our group and everyone said it was delish! If youâre ever in Overland Parkâgive it a try!
Our bellies were full but next we headed to a couple more shops in Overland Park, Quilters HQ & Harperâs Fabric & Quilt Co. Both were busy and full of all kinds of quilting/sewing items!
Last up on our list was, Quilterâs Bliss, in Olathe. Another cute little shop in a strip mall. Shopping was a success here for many and it was a great end to our quilt shop hop.
It was HOT today and these ladies shopped until we âdroppedâ and headed to QuikTrip for a nice cool drink to get us back home!
For being a non-quilter, but thinking itâs incredible how those who are âPiece & Patchâ these beautiful items togetherâit was a great day and happy these ladies reached out to have us be a part of it! Thank you for a great day! đ
(Overload pics in Parkville, MO because it truly is one of the cutest towns!)
