Last week we bid a very fond farewell to our colleague and friend Miciah Bay Gault, who has run the Vermont Book Awards for over a decade. She is stepping away from the VBAs and Vermont Humanities in order to write and teach full time.

She writes, "thank you to every VBA winner, finalist, judge, bookseller, librarian, journalist, artist, reader, keynote speaker, and awards ceremony attendee for being part of the past and future magic."
