We feel extremely lucky to spend time in so many schools this semester, helping to weave the arts into the students’ learning and experiences in the classroom. Amy spent 4 days at Colchester Middle School, working with 350, 7th & 8th graders as they begin their Romeo and Juliet unit!
Integrating arts into the classroom has a powerful impact. It supports multiple ways of understanding and expressing ideas, encourages empathy, fosters collaboration and flexible thinking. It inspires confidence and community building as students works together toward a shared goal.
