Meet Ernestina, one of the most delightfully unexpected characters in Hello, Dolly! Though her time on stage is brief, she sets up one of the musical's funniest scenes.

Bringing Ernestina to life is Tess Lynch, whose wonderful comic instincts, expressive personality, and joyful energy make every moment count. Tess embraces the fun of this memorable role with the perfect blend of charm and theatrical flair.

Without giving anything away, let's just say that not every match made in Hello, Dolly! goes exactly as planned, and that's part of what makes this musical so much fun.

Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart filled Hello, Dolly! with characters who each have a moment to shine. Ernestina reminds us that every role can leave a lasting impression when it's played with heart and humor.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸 As we celebrate the Fourth of July, it's the perfect time to shine a spotlight on one of Hello, Dolly!'s lesser-known musical gems: "Motherhood March." Set just before Memorial Day in Yonkers, the song is filled with patriotic spirit, hometown pride, and Jerry Herman's unmistakable wit.

But don't let the stirring march fool you...Dolly Levi isn't leading this patriotic celebration just because she's feeling festive. Like every great matchmaker, she has a plan. Without spoiling one of the funniest moments in the show, let's just say Dolly has an extraordinary talent for turning an unexpected situation into a memorable spectacle!

The result is a delightful blend of comedy and patriotism that perfectly captures what makes Hello, Dolly! so enduring: big laughs, unforgettable music, and a celebration of community.

As we celebrate America's birthday, we're reminded that Hello, Dolly! is also a celebration of optimism, neighbors coming together, and finding joy in life's unexpected moments.

We can't wait to share "Motherhood March" with you! Watch closely—you may find yourself laughing as much as you're humming along.

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from everyone at Nativity Players Theatre Ministry!
