Senior Art Night is coming up on September 27th! The class will be held at 6:00 pm at the Burgaw Community House, located at 102 East Wilmington Street. The cost is $15 per person.

The class will be led by Cheryl Holt from Emerge Studio Art

Accepted! My painting is titled "Heading Out", inspired by the view at the south end of Wrightsville Beach looking out towards Masonboro Island. The "Red, White, and Blue Show" is sponsored by the Arts Council of Wayne County and opens Friday, August 6th. I can't wait for the opening reception; it will be exciting to see my art as part of a show!!!

Saturday truly was a fun day at the studio. One of my best new friends is Taylor - at 5 years old a budding artist, art lover, and art enthusiast!!! She made my day with her vivacious personality and appreciation of my art!!!😊❤🖌 I was so impressed with her enthusiasm that I set her up with paints and brushes and she proceeded to whip out some artwork of her own!

Saturday in the Studio ... It is so good to see people starting to get out and about. I had some interesting company and made some new friends today at the Studio. I'm excited about the art activities and events that are starting to happen and VERY excited to share my new studio space with fellow creatives!!! But more about that later! For now, Blueberry Art to display in downtown Burgaw and my sunflowers, in the style of Van Gogh, for a paint party coming up this week! And lots more planned for the summer! Happy Saturday!!
