Joe have over 40 years experience as a blacksmith and almost as many years as a saddle maker and leather crafter. s a long time resident of the Finger Lakes region having been born in Watkins Glen and enjoys what life has to offer right here. Renee has been a seamstress for a half century learning design elements along the way. She designs the bags, wallets and accessories products produced with soft leathers at the Saddlery. Saturday Sept 29 at 1:00 we will be presenting a mix of traditional tunes and stories centered around life in New York State in the 1800's. Come join us on a journey back in time to hear music from the time of General Grant. Hear traditional songs, stories and fiddle tunes of Erie canal and of lumbermen and farmers. This will be our second show at General Grant National Memorial.

Uncle Joe and Renee will be presenting a musical performance at the historic Three Bears in Ovid, NY blending history and songs of the waterways, farms and forests. Step back in time to the bustling activity along the lakes and canals, farm lands and forests. Transport yourself back in time while enjoying the sounds of fiddle, banjo, guitar and singing in the beautifully restored courthouse in Ovid now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
