I'm Lori and for the past three years I've been working with wire and loving it. Now that I feel confident enough to offer my handmade designs to the public I have decided to open a page, thanks to help from friends. Each piece of jewelry is unique and takes anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to make, and that doesn't always include the antiquing process and sealant. I spend hours scouring the in
ternet and looking at various shops and fairs to find different stones and the best deals on wire and chain. I'm not trying to get rich, and I don't want my prices to be excessive. I also don't want to offer a finished product made with substandard materials. Because of this I have to find a balance between my cost and what I am asking for each piece of jewelry. My prices are determined by how much time I put into the design and materials. I only use pure copper wire and any sterling silver is .925 guaranteed. Some of my pieces are made with Zebra wire, which is copper with a colored coating over it. They have a factory sealant covering the outer color so it lasts a long time, but I also coat it with Vintaj sealant. This sealant is formulated for all metals, it is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and lasts for years. I NEVER use acrylic beads. I will post if a piece is made with glass or crystal and who the maker of the beads are (ex: swarovski or czech). Every pendant comes with a chain because who wants to buy a pendant without a chain? When I buy jewelry I want to wear it right away, not worry if I have something at home to match it or about shopping to find a chain. Also. I have recently started adding stainless steel chains to some of my pendants. They are durable, affordable, won't change color, and they are really pretty! I will specify if this type of chain is included with the pendant showed. I also coat any plated chains (like copper over brass) with the Vintaj sealant so you don't have to worry about them changing color.
**On a special note, please do not place your wire wrapped jewelry in a jewelry box or somewhere that can cause tangling. My designs are VERY sturdy, but some of the wire is thin and lots of abuse can cause damage. Avoid wearing it in water because all metal can be damaged by water.

When it comes to making wire wrapped jewelry what I really strive for the most is seeing people happy and giving them something that is unique and can last a lifetime. Smiles are great, questions are always welcome and I am very grateful to people for taking time out of their busy day to stop by my page to see what I have created. Thank You!
