Do you have children or friends with children interested in background work? Central Casting Los Angeles is holding a special Minors Talent Onboarding event on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Make a reservation to bring your minor and their required Form I-9 documentation to our office. (Those without required documentation will be turned away without exception.)

While work permits are not required to onboard, your minor must have a valid entertainment work permit issued by the State of California on file with Central Casting for your minor to be eligible to be booked. Exciting news. Text messages from Central Casting will now be sent from a new number: 43164. It’s shorter – only 5 digits, and it’s always the same 5-digit number. You can be assured that all messages you receive from this number are from us here at Central Casting. We know some of our Background Actors had some difficulty receiving text messages, this new number will help ensure all messages are delivered.

To respond to availability inquiries, you still must click the provided link or log in to your online profile. And of course if you’re going to be late or need to cancel, you must call your Central Casting office. This new text number does not accept replies.

Must pass COVID test to work. Even if you test negative, you are not confirmed for work unless we send you details confirming shoot day.

Christian P is taking submissions for a show seeking background to portray MALE CAUCASIAN TWINS AROUND THE AGE OF 18 TO 20 MONTHS OLD.

This would be a recurring role. Dates are TBD, but the project is projected to start July 26th.

Regardless of vaccination, you must still test negative for COVID-19 on one or more tests to be arranged by production prior to the first production work date.
As a condition of working on set, all talent are required to get Covid-19 test at a production sanctioned testing facility prior to any work date. Must be okay with any form test (nasal swabs, etc). Additional testing may also be done on workdays. While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn.
