Launched in summer 2014 by President Mark Miller and Lincoln Road, Origin Digital Studios provides visual effects services for the major movie studios, television networks, and production companies large and small. The veteran visual effects artists, producers and supervisors who comprise Origin collaborate with their clients from the beginning of each project, through a partnership intended to m
eet both the creative needs of the storytelling process, as well as to work within each client’s financial parameters. This involves providing creative support through such services as previs, creative consultation, budgeting, and financial projections in the beginning phases. Origin team members are available to work on-set during client productions, to secure the plates and materials that will be needed to make the work shine in post. Origin provides clients with a digital workflow that has been developed and refined based on years of experience and input from studios, supervisors, and artists, thus presenting the most efficient tools and processes possible. This solid backbone allows Origin to support even large scale projects with speed and efficiency, freeing up the artists and supervisors to focus on what matters most: their project and ultimately their shots.
