A table. A meal. A room full of stunt stories & laughter.

The Stuntmen’s Association of Motion Pictures gathered at the historic Smokehouse restaurant in Burbank —across from Warner Bros. Studios— for the annual Legends Dinner—a night dedicated to community, storytelling, and honoring the men who shaped our industry and innovated our craft.

Nearly eighty members of past, present, and honorary standing came together to share a meal, reconnect, and pass down the stories of hard-earned wisdom, while celebrating premier talent.

This is legacy, community, and brotherhood—built over generations and carried forward with intention.

These moments of reconnection are more than tradition. They are how standards are upheld, knowledge is passed forward, and the future of stunt work is strengthened. Honoring where we’ve been—while strengthening where we’re going.

SPEAKERS: Vic Armstrong, Walter Scott, Jayson Dumenigo, Allan Graf

We want to share the news of the passing of lifetime member Neil Summers on September 4th.

He was 81 years old and had become a member of the Association in 1980. Neil was born in England before moving to the U.S. and beginning his acting and stunt career in 1963.

He was known by his peers for being a western film historian. He frequented many western film conventions. "He could tell you everything you wanted to know about any western film." said member John Moio.

Our condolences to those who knew Neil well.
