In remembrance of our dear friend and legendary costume designer Jean-Pierre Dorleac, we’d like to revisit one of our favorite CDG Movie Night evenings from 2018.

Following a screening of the timeless classic Somewhere in Time, Jean-Pierre graciously joined us for a wonderful Q&A, sharing his knowledge, stories, wit, and deep love of cinema and costume design. It was an unforgettable evening, and everyone in attendance left inspired by his generosity and passion for our craft.

✨ CDG Movie Night proudly invites you to a once-in-a-lifetime Hollywood celebration! ✨

Join us on Saturday, June 6 at 11AM at the historic Fox Studio Lot as we celebrate the 100th Birthday of the legendary Marilyn Monroe. 💋🎂✨

Hosted in collaboration with the FOX Costume & Tailor Shop at the Fox Studio Lot, this very special event will feature a screening of the beloved classic Gentlemen Prefer Blondes — filmed on the legendary Fox lot — along with a panel discussion spotlighting the extraordinary career of iconic costume designer William Travilla and his unforgettable muse, Marilyn Monroe.

We are honored to welcome special panelists including renowned costume collector and President of the Marilyn Remembered Fan Club, Greg Schreiner, alongside additional distinguished guests.

Following the screening and discussion, guests are invited to join us for a small birthday reception celebrating Marilyn Monroe’s centenary.

This promises to be a glamorous afternoon dedicated to classic Hollywood cinema, costume design, fashion history, and the enduring legacy of one of the greatest stars of all time.
