What a journey this has been. 🖤
Fallen Saints: Art of Heartbreak began years ago in the mind of Matt Ritchey as a warning for those who deny their true selves. Then 2020 happened, life got a little crazy, and the idea waited.
Years later, when Matt was approached again for our Fallen Saints project, that idea finally had its moment to come to life.
And bringing it to life took a village.
From Midsummer Scream to Art of Heartbreak, this has been a massive undertaking filled with writing, rehearsing, building, painting, decorating, costuming, creating props, traveling, performing, problem-solving, laughing, occasionally losing our minds, and always having each other’s backs.
It took a lot of paint, a lot of hours, a little blood, sweat, and tears, and an extraordinary amount of heart.
That’s what Force of Nature is. We’re a theatre company, but we’re also a family. We show up for each other, share our talents, pitch in when something needs to be done, and somehow turn all that beautiful chaos into theatre.
To our cast and crew, FON membership, and subscribers who continually support what we do: thank you.
To LACAE and the wonderful people at Midsummer Scream, thank you for your partnership and for giving us spaces where something this wonderfully strange can come alive.
And to everyone who bought a ticket, laughed and cheered with us, took pictures, wrote a review, tagged or shared us, told a friend, or simply sat in the audience and let us tell you a story: you are part of this too.
Theatre doesn’t happen without an audience.
From the bottom of our strange little FON hearts, thank you for being part of Fallen Saints. 🖤❤️
The curtain may have closed…
but we’re just getting started.
