For years, you’ve been asking us for a photography experience — and we’re excited to finally reveal our new 2027 Photography Workshop in Scotland with Peter Sandground, former Sunday Times photographer and Sunday Herald photo editor, and Jamie Simpson, longtime Herald photojournalist and film & television photographer.

Set against the dramatic landscapes of the Scottish Highlands, this workshop will explore landscape, wildlife, portraiture, action photography and visual storytelling.

Who comes to mind when you think of the most influential Impressionists? Names like Monet, Renoir, and Degas.

shares the remarkable story of Berthe Morisot. Born into a bourgeois family in 1841, Morisot pursued painting at a time when few women were able to build serious careers as artists.

She studied the masters at the Louvre, exhibited at the prestigious Paris Salon, and in 1874 became one of the founding participants in the first Impressionist exhibition—securing her place at the heart of a movement that would transform modern art..
