THE ANIMAL PAINTING CHALLENGE ✨🐾

Our newest art community Facebook challenge is finally here!

Create an artwork featuring an animal or animals as the main focal point. Whether it’s a beloved pet, wildlife, birds, horses, farm animals, or a scene that tells a story through its animal subjects, we’d love to see your interpretation.

• All mediums welcome
• All skill levels welcome
• Multiple entries allowed
• Artwork completed within the last 48 months is eligible

📍 Challenge ends July 5

🏆 Winners will be featured across our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok channels.

“The result of my entire working life.” — Henri Matisse 💡

One of the most famous painters in the world said his greatest masterpiece wasn’t a painting.

It was this chapel in the South of France.

At 77 years old, after cancer left him in a wheelchair, Henri Matisse began designing the Chapelle du Rosaire in Vence using a brush attached to a bamboo pole.

Watch until the end to see how the entire chapel glows with only three colors:
Yellow for the sun
Green for the cactus outside
Blue for the Mediterranean
