Join us in welcoming more exceptional guest artists and former alumni whose passion and professionalism will elevate our summer training! Marygrace, a native of Atlanta, began her training at BSB, where her love for ballet first blossomed. She continued her studies with the Ballet Conservatory of North Georgia while performing with Georgia Christian Dance Theatre. Throughout her 15 years of training, she earned numerous awards and scholarships from prestigious programs including the American Academy of Ballet, Houston Ballet, The Sarasota Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Sacramento Ballet. She furthered her training through summer intensives across the country before accepting a scholarship to join The Sarasota Ballet as a trainee.
Now entering her third season as a Corps de Ballet member with Georgia Ballet, Marygrace is deeply grateful for the journey ballet has given her. Some of her most cherished memories from BSB include lifelong friendships and performing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Anna DiZinno danced with BSB for 15 years and trained under Andrea Pell at the Ballet Conservatory of North Georgia for eight of those years. During her senior year of high school, she trained at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. This fall, she plans to join State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara as a trainee with the company. Annaâs favorite part of her experience at BSB has been the lifelong friendships she has built through dance, and she is thrilled to be teaching this summer.
AvaCarol Lee spent eight years training at BSB, including five years with GCDT and six years in the Conservatory. She is graduating from the Ballet Magnificat! trainee program, where she has trained for the past two years.
One of AvaCarolâs most treasured memories from her time at BSB was performing the Christ Candle in the Advent Wreathâa role she had dreamed of dancing from the very first time she saw it come to life on stage.
It is a privilege to have these artists invest in our students and help shape their journey at BSB!
