Join us for a special Find Your Beat Masterclass with Director Gaitrie Devi and Co-Director Megan Rakeepile for an experience that goes beyond movement and into history, identity, and connection.
This session explores the story of Indo-Caribbean indentured laborers in Guyana and the complex relationships with Afro-Caribbean communities, offering insight into how history shapes who we are today.
Through storytelling, reflection, and a short performance excerpt, participants will engage with the roots of the work and be invited to connect it back to their own lived experiences.
This is not just a class, it’s a space to learn, reflect, and find your own rhythm. Free and open to the community, All are welcome.
