‼️NEW DIRECTOR INCOMING‼️
Brandon Aldrich has been part of the Buffalo Theatre Community since performing in Prairie Fire Theatre shows when he was in Elementary School. In High School, he performed in all of the shows except for one production. His favorite roles include Marius in Les Misérables, Joseph in Joseph in the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Ron in Kevin Kling’s The Ice Fishing Play. Throughout high school, he participated in both band and choir, along with attending MacPhail School of Music’s Prelude Singer Actor Performance Lab. where he worked with some of the best directors, teachers, and upcoming actors in the Twin Cities Theatre Scene. While attending the University of Minnesota, Mr. Aldrich studied music and English. He holds a BA in English Literature and a Masters in English Language Arts Education. While at the U, Mr. Aldrich participated in University Opera Theatre performances and Workshops as well as a number of theatre classes. He returned his sophomore year to help HD direct the one act at the time, and he fell in love with directing under HD’s mentorship. He continued to work off and on with BHS theatre either in a director role or playing guitar in the Pit Orchestra and directed three shows at BCMS when he started teaching in Buffalo in 2015. At BHS he is an English, Stage Acting, and AVID Elective Teacher. Mr. Aldrich is so excited to bring his creative energy to every piece he directs along with continuing to grow and support the Buffalo High School Theatre Program that is so dear to him and all others who are involved.
