The Theatre District Association of WNY presents the 43rd Annual Curtain Up! 🎭

Celebrate 43 years of live theatre in Western New York TONIGHT, 9/18 in the Buffalo Theatre District!

Curtain Up! is a “make your own” night
signature event. Join the community at the Kickoff party or select a place to dine in the Theater District, purchase tickets for any of a wide
variety of shows, and then enjoy free entertainment on the street throughout the Theater District (Main St. between Tupper & Chippewa).

Building on our history of free theater in Buffalo, this collaborative panel approach—implemented in 2022—has been instrumental in fostering fresh perspectives and innovative productions. The panel is composed of scholars, artists, designers, educators, community members, and Shakespeare enthusiasts who share a passion for the arts.

This team will consist of 5-9 volunteers who will be responsible for reviewing directorial submissions, meeting as a panel, and interviewing finalists resulting in the selection of two plays which will be produced in our 53rd Season (2028).

- A brief statement on why you're interested in serving on the panel and what perspective you would bring
