Yeah, lingering COVID is still kicking my ass 4 weeks in, and I'm in a perpetual state of existential and material terror as fascism threatens my immediate family/neighbors and the world at large. Trying to do some small work so ALL of my muscles and faculties don't completely atrophy.

Take care of one another out there. Get vaccinated. Shield a neighbor.

If stickers were not my consistent seller, I'd quit making them. If it's not my cutting machine ruining sheets of sticker paper, its my printer smearing registration marks. Every sheet that smears is a sheet I have to die-cut by hand. If you've ever wondered why my stickers are $4 and not cheaper even though I print at home, it's because most of them end up die-cut by hand. Restocking between sellouts and market seasons usually takes 20+ hours. Y'all, I'm SICK OF IT.

Working on more large pieces for my tarot deck -- "Death" makes 4 down, 18 to go and I'll have a complete Major Arcana.

I love when I can use thematic materials. The body of the opossum is made with scraps from an out-of-date Edward Gorey calendar, advertisements for headstones, and photographs from an old Time/Life war photography book.

I'll have prints and the mounted original for sale at Rochester Clothesline next weekend, and after that I'll actually have time for site updates so you can get prints online 😁

I've been struggling to get new work done between day job, some health stuff, and recent familial grief, BUT: I just finished a collage and it feels so good to have taken some time for (art)work.

Based on "Garden Song", I ended up leaving off the words but dang if "we are made of dreams and bones" is some of the most metal-ass hopecore ever written.

I'll have this (and some prints if things behave!) at Carnegie Art Spree this weekend if you want to see it in person!!
