Walk with ceiling cat my child." On birch canvases, Samantha playfully subverts tradition. Her animal parodies of Eastern Orthodox icons—saints with dubious powers and mischievous eyes—invite us to question reverence. Is there room for humor in the sacred? Darkness meets luminescence in Samantha’s animal portraits. Against a backdrop of the moon they emerge as mystical beings. Nocturnal beasts and

insects wear halos of light, their eyes reflecting ancient wisdom. These creatures, bathed in lunar glow, beckon us to explore our own hidden depths.
