Colored pencil illustration complete! This is a character reference for a fantasy novel I’ve been writing. It’s been about 10 years since I’ve done a colored pencil illustration— at first, very tedious, but I feel satisfied with the outcome. To my surprise and delight, a month ago someone reached out to a popular MN Renaissance festival group asking where they could purchase more of these dragons. I made these little guys for fairy gardens for the three years I participated in fest. 🙂 It really warms my heart that folks are out there with pieces of my art in their homes- and that they continue to bring joy several years after I left. Needless to say, I reached out to this individual and got her two new friends sent out to South Dakota! Thank you, Jennifer! ❤️
