Adjacent to the Buffalo Museum of Science’s new permanent exhibit, Science Stadium, we also opened an exhibit fondly titled, Built for Buffalo! This exhibit shines a light on the architectural design, and construction process behind the new Highmark Stadium. Built For Buffalo highlights key features that were chosen for the players, the fans, and the structure itself to perform at the highest quality for the best possible experience! Thanks to the Buffalo Bills, Gilbane Building, and Turner Construction Company we have a Built-To-Scale model of the stadium, player lockers, stadium seats, and many other construction objects that were part of the stadium design and building process! A special thanks to FourthIdea for helping to design such an impactful space!

Being the Exhibits Manager at the Buffalo Museum of Science and helping bring this exhibit to life will forever be a highlight of my career! Science Stadium is the first new permanent exhibit at the museum in nearly a decade, and is just a sampling of the growth, transformation, and excitement you can expect to see from us moving forward!

Partnering with the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Buffalo Bandits for this exhibit we are highlighting the many different STEAM career paths that you can take to be a part of the professional sports world! With so many different interactive exhibits ranging from a full sports simulator, to adaptive sports education, to a mascot designer there is something for everyone! We even partnered with local artist Emeka Wajed to create a Stunning mural for the space that highlights the true diversity of Buffalo and its athletes, and recognizes some of our many donors!

I’m so grateful to my team, and the many MANY others who put in the time, hard work, and support to make this truly Buffalo, NY exhibit possible!
