Congrats to Frederico7 | Brazilian Music on the streaming release of ‘Brasileirou’ today! And a happy birthday to him as well. He pulled together an amazing cast of musicians to record his beautiful songs over a year and capture a truly Brazilian sound and identity. We’ve worked together on a few and I really think this is his best work. The album features musicians Luiz Coutinho Michael Hale Sonia McLaughlin Denise Brazão Joshua Thomson Joseph Woullard Evan Marley Roberto Paolo Riggio and others. String and horn arrangements by Pedro Dom - Music Director / Composer and recorded and mixed by Beto Martinez Lechehouse Music and mastered by sampatlove. The release show is this Sunday Aug 23 at the Rosette Theater and there will be vinyl available. Get your tickets, buy the record and enjoy the music!

Got this Wurlitzer speaker cabinet with no speakers. It’s got a tremolo mechanism via the hexagonal plates in the top speaker slots. The motor for that works and they spin. I thought it would make a cool project to put speakers in and run guitars through it. I used it once by just sticking a small amp in there. Anyway, unfulfilled project. Free for the taking, I no longer have room for it. Lmk!

There’s a slew of new music out today and also in last couple of weeks from artists we’ve had the pleasure of working with here . Not to mention that this batch is all so vastly different from each other, I’m proud of the work and grateful for the opportunities.
