The Academy of Ballet was established in 1985 in Enumclaw WA by Sandra and Glen Hasstedt. In 2016 the Academy transitioned to Buckley WA and Bethany Payne took over as the Artistic Director/Owner. The Academy holds two outstanding performances a year, a winter show and our annual end of the year performance in June. Our dance seasons start in September and ends in June with the summer months off f

or a nice little break for the kiddos. If you’ve been interested in getting started, don’t hesitate to give us a call or send a message! We can’t wait to have you at the studio!

I mean words can’t even describe how proud I am of our studio this weekend!! Our best performances and competition to date. DUNE taking home Overall FIRST place in the Senior Advanced Small Group category, Senior Trio taking home Fourth Overall, Teen Trio taking home Third Overall, Teen group taking home eighth Overall against 40 groups!!! And lastly but not least our Junior group taking home fourth overall!! We had the best time !! We’re sad our competition season is coming to end but we cannot wait for next season. LOTS of amazing talent and dances coming to our studio next season!! Can’t wait for you all to see what our future holds 💫✨⭐️🌟🤩

Another successful competition weekend for AOB! Our Rising Stars placing 3RD overall, best in style and a judges choice for technique (🥹), Senior Trio placing 5th overall and getting a judges choice for choreography (🥰), Teen Trio placing 9th overall and getting best in style, Teen group placing 7th overall and best in style! Senior group receiving an Extreme Voltage and getting a Judges Shoutout to their commitment to their dance + about a million compliments on their dance and costumes. We’re so excited for our next competition in May as we’re bringing a first for the studio.. a large group hip hop dance!! Stay tuned! 🌟✨💫🩷💜🩵
